..."a special class rate of $12 on Thanksgiving Eve, Christmas Eve, and New Year's Eve."
September 2009
The holiday season is here and it's that special time of year where we express gratitude to those around us. At Broadway Dance Center, we're giving thanks by offering a special class rate of $12 on Thanksgiving Eve, Christmas Eve, and New Year's Eve. Come join us for discounted classes! Broadway Dance Center Faculty, Staff, and students all danced together dressed as elves in Union Square for an exciting Office Max ad campaign! Check out the festivities. Please support BDC's charitable efforts this season: BDC Gives Classes, in which all proceeds go to Saint Jude Children's Research Hospital, our Food Drive for City Harvest, and World AIDS Day December 1.
The Winter Workshop Series is designed specifically for advanced dancers who are ready to be challenged! With limited class sizes and an intimate studio setting, each dancer will enjoy the individualized attention only the Winter Workshop Series and Broadway Dance Center in NYC can provide.
BDC: What are the most important aspects you hope dancers take away from your workshop?
Michelle: That tap dance is an expression of not just rhythm, music and technicality, but is an art form through which to express emotion and passion.
Sheila: To embrace the experience of learning and dancing and be educated with newness.
Tucker: I hope dancers learn not to be afraid and just to express themselves through dance rather than being caught up in the steps.
Tony & Melanie: We hope the dancers will take away a love, appreciation, and new-found passion for ballroom--and that this is something they can continue and take further into their lives.
