WHAT'S NEW THIS WEEK AT THE NUTCRACKER:

1. Saturday evening, December 20 at 7:30pm, soloist Daniela DeLoe will perform the role of The Sugarplum Fairy for the first time ever.

2. Company Artist Grace Shibley will have her debut as The Sugarplum Fairy on Sunday, December 21 at 1pm.

3.This is Steven Houser's first year performing the role of the mysterious Herr Drosselmeier. See him in action this Saturday, December 20 at 7:30pm.

4. OBT's dance historian Linda Besant made her onstage debut as the Grandmother in last weekend's performances. She will perform the dizzying role every show for the rest of the run!

5. Don't forget the iconic snow scene.  Unlike the one currently outside, ours won't affect your morning commute! The Oregonian calls it "seven minutes of magic." Come see why!
